Jennifer Beihl

Senior Manager, Performance and Culture, GE

Jennifer Beihl is a leader of the Performance Development and Culture team at GE Corporate.  Since 2014, she has been a lead architect in the transition of GE’s longstanding performance management approach to performance development. She was also a leader in the introduction and practice of FastWorksTM, GE’s approach to infuse an entrepreneurial way of working in an industrial enterprise. Both have been key elements of the cultural change in GE as it transforms to most effectively operate in a world marked by disruption, uncertainty and accelerated change.

Beihl has contributed to books and articles about the FastWorksTM approach, including the book The Startup Way by Eric Ries. She has also been a well-received speaker at Corporate Executive Board and HRPS conferences. Before joining the corporate sector, she worked in the education field in Costa Rica, where she lived for a short time in the cloud forests and rain forests training local nature guides to participate in the ecotourism industry.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Brown University in Rhode Island.
